someone questioned that on another forum... what about an EMP? and the barrel also becomes dirtier and longer for each bullet, which effectly changes range and accuracy... however the concept is amazing.

They said the entire thing can be run from flash light batteries. Any UPS or backup power would last forever on that much draw.

As far as the EMP thing goes...it doesn't seem like a problem...theres ways to protect from it. Also I don't think the gun itself would suffer...only the power supply or attached computer would get fried...but since it said they can run it off of flashlight batteries...then it would pretty much be immune to EMP.
