LED Switch Help

Well I spliced and wired all of the leds in my car to a switch hidden in my cigarette ash tray but whenever the switch moves it feels like the loop contacted to the power, ground and accessory dongle things seems to shift and they lose connectivity...i know its nothing with the wires being spliced because it works fine in certain spots of the switch location. what would be a good way to tighten the loop and prevent the lights from flickering if the switch is moved out of place?

Yeah I'm not quite sure what your asking either.

Are you saying the switch moves around and the wires connected to the switch come loose? If so buy the correction connectors for the switch.

ok basically i have the wire wrapped around the holes in the switch in a loop, i have the loop crimped tight and fastened with electrical tape. whenever the actual switch moves out of its spot, the leds flicker since, what i'm guessing, is the loops around the switch circuits are losing contact. what should i do?

Can you post pics? I am not understanding still, but year twisting wires and "looping" them with electrical tape is never good.

The leads that come off the back off the switch have little holes in them. He just shoved the wires through the holes instead of using connectors. When he moves the switch the wires come loose.

Like I said use real connectors or like mark said solder the connections.

why don't you mount it somewhere. this way it's not contacting metal and shorting out everytime you try and push it? and if it's coming loose, mounting it somewhere will prevent the wires coming loose from the switch. just drill a small hole in your dash plastic piece someplace, and put the toggle switch in the hole, then screw on the nut, simple as that. your not supposed to have it loose anywhere.
