My car is finally done! (WARNING incoming fakeout)

so we got a call today and my car is finally done!

it has been at the dealership for about 6-7 weeks now since it was hit by an underage high DUI driver..anyway..

so i go up there really excited to get back in my baby and...well....

the headlights are different. one is the original clear 2.4ss one and the other is the tinted supercharged ss headlight.

the hood is misaligned

the fenders dont line up

the thing under the windshield wiper blades is like off

they didnt give me a lower grill

they DID however give me a fresh coat of scratches and marks on various places like the door handles and such.

I am at a loss for words. i am just so fed up i dont know what to do anymore.

as for pics, im going up there tomorrow to talk to them (the bodyshop was closed when i went up, didnt wanna bitch to the salesman) ill take plenty when im there

a ton of scratches and dings/greasy handmarks/fingerprints

front bumper had a sag about 1 inch from the headlight

the trunkline was off allighnment

the tires were worn.(joyride)

the clutch was slipping(badly)

the funny thing is that the dealership only had the car for 2 days.

I have been dicked over by dealers for thousands of dollars in the past. I always got the shaft. Even Daniels BMW (which looks like a really nice bmw dealer) totally screwed up my car. They stole multiple things including, but not limited to my In-dash DVD player, engine parts, interior pieces, exterior pieces. The car had major mechanical issues and everything. Est. repairs to fix everything they screwed up was 5K. Mccafferty quality care still owes me $3600 which is a on going legal battle. Dealers are low life scum IMO, but hell.... its not thier car.

Oi... gonna start taking pictures with a digi camera with the date/time stamp turned on before I drop it off, and after I pick it up...

that is such BS. And its a shame, the only place I trust with my car would be a Chevy Dealership my uncle used to work at... and he'd **** someone up if they messed with our ****

take it back to them and drop it off then call you insurance agent and tell an adjuster to come out and tell them to fix it to how it was bec ause thats what insurance is supposed to do. ****ing asshole, i hate ****ty body shops, Ive had my own car stolen by a guy that worked at the body shop, that was supposed to be fixing and re-spraying my car. Its so hard to find a body shop you can trust to get your car back from with a good turnout. I know that CarbonIS's father works or owns a body shop and if i were ever to need work done i would go to him knowing and seeing the quality work they did to his old IS.

That really sucks man, I'm sorry about your car. I had a bodyshop break my windshield when they were fixing a dent in the rear of the car, and a tire shop that managed to scratch all of my wheels while they were installing my new tires. And the kicker was that they were both friend's of the family. You can't trust anybody anymore unfortunately.

Hope everything gets worked out.

allstate kept trying to shove they're bodyshop down my throat and i kept refusing for that very reason. i took it to my works bodyshop because 1. i work in the building next door, and 2. i know the guy who worked on it and he is VERY good at what he does. and i could keep an eye on it the whole time.

so since thomas chevrolet (horrible dealership) "finished" my car, allstate isnt gonna pay for my rental anymore, even though they are still working on my cobalt.

might be time to start cracking skulls.

PS...what car should i get around the 20k$ish area?
