Recent update of the accord conversion

Been absent from here for awhile so I thought I would finally get around to posting some new updated pics. Been busy with a lot of shows this summer and a few small new parts along the way. Here are some show pics and some modification pics.

HIN NC

Crazy tape job on the way home.

Nightshift NY

Painted Calipers

Gotta protect the car from overspray

Almost finished but the tape took off some of the protective coating on the brake pads.

Sneak peak of Spoon Upper Control Arms installed

Rear Finished

Front setup for show

JTso Custom ETD

Edge on factory strut bar must be cut off so that it is flat for the tower mount bracket.

Tower Bracket Spray Painted Black

Engine Bracket

I have been playing around with 2 strobes using the wireless technology nikon has in there camera and flashes for a while but finally decided I needed more to do a full car shot. I picked up a couple sb-24 to go along with my sb-800s, a couple light stands, and cactus wireless transmittersand receivers. Here is my first attempt with 5 strobes to light a car and then 2 different edits of the original.

Pretty great looking conversion.

But with all the work of taping off the calipers, I find it's a lot easier to remove them to paint them. Tapeing in a cirly is always a bitch I think.

I must say I prefer the slammed look on those amazing wheels over the one-wheel-off look.

But it's an amazing car. Good luck with it.

nice photos, how did you have the lights set up? i'd like to see a bit more light on the side of the car and tone it down a little on that front corner. but overall the photo looks quite nice.
thanks for the update...

yeah I wasn't a 100% happy with the light but still was only my first attempt with 5 strobes. got a bunch of ideas for the next time but the gf was getting pretty antsy to leave so I didn't really get to try much. still need to modify the remote for the wireless trigger system too for longer range.

Love the car, but why wouldn't you just remove the calipers to paint them?
