I don't think you understand how well electric go karts can run, especially on tight knit tracks. They are perfect.

Slow compared to a 125cc or 250cc shifter kart? Absolutely! But if you put a 125/250cc shifter kart on that indoor track, you would be in to every wall there is.

So I guess this requires more....do you want an outdoor experience where you use gas go karts on a more open track? Those things are extremely pricey, and I don't know many places that rent them.

I "think" that you would be pleasantly surprised with Arnolds.

put it this way...if you can proove you are a good enough driver to the people working the track at arnolds they will ease the governor off and you can easily reach 40 mph. 04 turbo spec and his family race cars, and his little bro races shifter karts and they all think arnolds is a great time, take it from people that have been there, its worth going to. and to put the battery thing to rest its 2 or 3 car batterys on each side of you. o and dale ernhart has driven here multiple times.

p.s.- i typed this whole thing on a phone, thats how bad you need to go and stop procrastinating haha
