So I started 2006 with a unreliable 2001 VW GTI that left me stranded on the way to class 2x and I knew it was time to ditch the car.

I traded the car in for a 2006 Acura TSX 6MT w/ Navi and like the car very much. I wanted a car that I could drive from A to B and not worry about fixing it/ having it fail on me.

Since then, I had the chance to drive an S2000 and I am hooked! So I decided that I want to ditch the TSX and get something a little quicker.

Am I crazy to want to drive a S2000 as a DD (including PA winters + winter tires) or should i get a more modable (then my tsx) 4-Door GTI that has some functionality then the s2000 and a decent following, which i still have many friends in...

Would probably get a 2006-2007 and anything under $30k and 25k miles.

it depends on what you want more? a small car with a tight suspension, or a luxury car. s2000's aren't fast, but they sure are fun in the twistys.
