its late, im only looking and feedbacking the ones that stand out haha.

i like 1. dof is good.

for 5 how did you convert it to bw? it just seems to be lacking. it has the potential to be more eye catching.

for 6 try messing with the shadow/highlights, just becareful tho, you can make it look fake if its over done.

7 is cool. altho is there dust on your lens or sensor? upper middle right.

and for the scenery ones, i like most of them. the hdr looks good and not like a hdr haha.

thanks for the positive parts.

for 5 i think i used the gradient map: black, white. what do you suggest?

for 6 i already used the shadow highlight and that's as good as i could get it without it looking completely fake.

7 may just be a shadow on the wall. i can use the healing brush to take that out.

thanks again

i usually use a gradient map too. but sometimes using the channel mixer can get a better result.

Some of your pictures are lacking a clearly defined subject. Others have one however the composure is off. I think all in all a good start. How is that tunnel one hdr'd cause it pretty much looks like thats how it came out of the camera.

Not a bad start. I just bought a whole bunch of new gear, so we should all go out and shoot sometime.

As for specific feedback, I would suggest trying to make your B&W's a bit more dramatic. Use Curves to try and accentuate the lights and darks. You'd be amazed at what a difference it will make.

i agree.. the b&w shots are good except for that extra punch of contrast. unless the look you're going for is somewhat gloomy, i would mess with the curves and a little bit of contrast/brightness.

like someone said, some of the pics are kind of subject-less, but they have potential to be good shots.. next time try to make it obvious what the subject is, our eyes need to travel to something instead of just roam aroundthe frame.

overall, looks like some great shots!
