Well i finally got a digital camera, and what a better way to break it in, then to clean up the car and take it out for a few pictures.. I admit right off the bat i have no photography skills. i wish i did but whatever.. i did what i could and what I thought was creative. Constructive criticism is appreciated.

note: there is not to much i can do about colors/contrast. etc. Because i do not have a editing program im looking for more like, position of car, locations.. things like that.. so here ya go..

And for some reason this one is my favorite

clean. Although you werent kidding about the photgraphy skills....pics dont do that car justice at all-- looks like the import version of a dodge magnum

man i can't wait to see a nice hooked up lancer. all it needs is some wheels, lowering kit, and a lip kit. thats it!! lol.

Yea you really do need some practice, but hey thats what makes perfect. you had some good locations, but you have to try to get the pictures to be a bit more dramatic. Taking good pictures you have to think what you are doing, not just a point and shoot like it seems you went through. Invest in a tripod, itl come in handy later if you dont use it already, and just practice practice practice. Thats the great thing about digital, you can mess up as many times as you want for free. GL wit it

yes a tripod is a must. Like when i squat, i kinda want a better angle. so i use the tripod and lower it lower then if i was on my knees. the shot comes out 10x better.

I've also seen ppl with ladders that they climb up to get a high view of the cars. they mount the tripod on top pointing down and thats it.

Look through and see what other people do, ask some questions, read the stickies in the Photography section of the boards, go online do some reading, and youll start getting the hang of things.

BTW I bet if I played with one of the images in photoshop a little, it would be a lot more impressive, but the idea is to get the picture to look great without photoshop, and then give it that extra little touch. Il get on photoshop later tonight and see what I can do with a few of em

read up on the "rule of thirds" photography. thats really the main thing missing in your pics. other then that, nice car!

but damn how many times did you move your car around.
I'm not a fan of the 08's the fronts look funny to me.

Thank you. I love the car, and the handling is great, I mean its no EVO but its really good compared to the cars iv had. Its good on gas and it has everything i want in it..which was the SS package.. so over all the car for me is perfect. i mean i always wanted an evo but if this is the closest i get till then, ill take it.

haha thank you. yea that one was luck that it came out that way. it was gettin dark after cleaning the car a lil more that night.
as for moving the car.. alot.. it was only me so yea took a little work. didnt help that it was hot that day also. With the front end i didnt like it either at first but then it grew on me.

too much going on in the background, imo. keep it simple and focus on the car. the background should not take away from the main focal point.
