need a little help with possible car purchase.

there is a 05 white subaru legacy gt turbo 5 speed that was just traded in by some high up board member from temple at my dealership.

it has about 35k miles on it and need some work.

There is a dent on the drivers side fender some stains inside, the brakes all around are gone, tires are all choppy, looks like something leaking on the underside. I have not been able to drive it or get up on a lift yet. so those are the only things i have noticed. what should i be looking for in these subaru's?

now the question is, what is it worth. i know what the dealer wants but i want to see what other people say before i mention it. I looked it up on nada and they said about 16-18k and that was for a clean, in good shape car. edmunds said it was about 13-15k for average. and kbb said 13-16k.

Thanks
Jason

4 wheel brake job
Choppy tires
Dents
Unknown leak

Atleast to me, all red flags that I would stay away from.

Well hes a tech or a SW so I don't think fixing those things would be a big deal. Probably an easy way to get a hell of a deal on that car.
