So last night I go to Steves steaks w my boy. We eat our steaks everythin is all good. I am walkin to my car to leave and there is a group of like 15 people drinkin and **** in the parking lot, some girls throw 2 corona bottles behind my car. So i Pick them up and throw them off the side of the road and the one breaks. So like 5 of these guys come up to me acting tough and **** saying why am I breaking bottles. Out of no where I get suckerpunched in the face like 3 times, I swung and clocked one guy, at this point people starting running out of steves to help me and my friend, and then all the kids run. The police got one guy running in his car on 95 and the other one they found hiding behind steves. I have a fat ass lip and cheek now and a broken finger. I got the case number last night and they told me to come down to some station on monday to file charges. Do you guys think it's even worth me going on monday? Will anything happen to these guys?

Definitely go Monday. Even if nothing happens to him in the end, at least he knows that people aren't afraid to file the report.

****ing trash. Plus, if you broke your finger in the process, it's only right to cover yourself by filing the report. If you wanted, he would be liable of any medical bills (in civil of course). Having it on record with the PD is a huge plus for your side.

Umm yea since they caught some of them and you file charges yes bad things will happen. I am sure they will crack and give up their friends who joined in on beating you guys. They could be fined a lot of money, given jail time for assault, you could possibly sue them (if you had the money of course for a lawyer) for a lot of different things.

Yea I went to the hospital this morning to check my jaw and finger.Finger is broke and they put a whole in my nail to let all the blood out. Yea look's like Im gonna go on monday then. Thanks guys I wish my face wasnt so ****ing mangled. I wish I could tell the huge jacked guy that came running out of steves to help me thanks again. He was all bloody too when it was done and they took him out to 95 to identify the guy. Then when it was just the one kid left there I was talking so much **** to him the cops were loving it, ****ing pussy needed 5 of his friends to beat me up, and im no big guy.

Yes, you definitely should go to file the charges on monday as everyone else has already said. Out of curiousity (even though I'm damn sure I already know the answer

) which Steve's location did this happen at? The one on the boulevard (probably) or the one on Business Rt.1 in Langhorne?

tell me it was the one on bustleton and i can probably name three of them. but def. file charges. ive said it before, the biggest problem with this city is that people are afraid of these scum and wont do anything about it.

Im so ****ing pissed. I should of smashed the beer bottle on his face but I was already half way on the ground stunned. Now im just sitting here ****ed up on these perc's the hospital gave me.

Yea I just got off the phone w the detective, he said its just a simple assualt charge but that I should still go on monday to file charges. He said its on 34th and south 11th street. Anyone know where that is?

Simple assault? I wouldnt waste your time, bro. It will prolly turn into nothing in court. If you were lucky, they had some outstanding warrants or were on probation/parole.

the same thing happend to me. i was at one of the diners on rt. 13 in bristol, and it was like 3am, snowing, and we were really hungry. it was me, droptop chevy, 1988olds, and some other guys. we were all eating minding our buisness, and then as we proced to leave, this one guy saw this girl that was with us, he said she had a nice ass or something like that, i really dont rember it was a while ago. so my friend replied, why dont you take a picture, it will last longer. thats when all hell broke loose. we were already outside, and like i said it was begining to snow. so the guy comes to me and says "you want to start some ****" im like uhh, no not really. so he punches me in the face twice. then he goes to droptop, and says the same thing, and he punches him in the face, and as he does so, droptop begins to fall, and he is standing next to my car, trying to grab something to prevent him from hitting the ground. my car is coverd in snow, and you can see 4 lines where his fingers were. him being my best friend from like the 3rd grade, i help him up and see if he is alright, he got hit harder then i did, and he got punched in the face twice. so i then go in my car, turn it on because it was freezing out and i had leather seats, and they were really cold. then i get out and i see my other friend all the way in the far right corner now fighting this guy. mind you this guy is about 6'3 and about 300lbs. he is a tow truck driver for superior automotive on lincoln highway right by the police station. hes weraring slippers in the snow and he has the guy on the ground punching him in the face until the police show up. he finally gets up and some how he got away, but we got his license plate number. the police finally came and we all gave a report on what happend, and the other officer with another police cruiser, found the guy, pulled him over and arrested him. later we found out that he was a volenteer fire fighter, and within the week, he was kicekd off the squad for his actions.

Its assult and will be on their record. The records should also show them being arrested. This could hurt them later in life if they go for job interviews or anything like that. I would do all possible.

It's still a misdemeanor, second degree I think. Thats punishable by over a year if found guilty (obviously, he won't get time, but still, it's not a parking ticket we're talking about). And more importantly, it shows up. How can you say don't waste your time??
