I am trying to buy a car that is for sale in Canada. For those who care, its a kauai blue mx6. anyway... what do i need to do to get it legally into the states? who do i need to call? any insight is good.... comments about my choice of car is not.

I'd call Wiggins. I figure they've had to title plenty of cars that were bought on ebay/autotrader from Canada. Its a good place to start anyways...

im just giving my 2 cents here but your most likely going to have to remit sales tax back to the state of PA

and your speedometer will be in KM that might have to be changed to pass inspection

other than that make sure you bring me back some maple syrup ok eh, you hoser

id make you you dont need a Canidian drivers license too, casue i know you cant buy a NEW car in canada and bring it back to the states

haha is the sti going bye bye? no. im looking for a daily driver... and this color is next to impossible to find... and i found one lol...

i dunno about the tax

i have the OEM cluster out of my old mx6, and according to extremely reliable sources, it clips right in and works perfectly.

i also have a friend (ben collins) who gratiously offered to drive the car back from niagra for me... so it may be even more complicated...

Alright, well the fact that it is OBDII already should make it fairly straight forward in the emissions department. If it was something like 1996-2000 OBDI (like they have in japan) then there would be issues.

No, it should not, the KL-ZE was a JDM motor only, all cars imported to Canada have to be at least 15 years old, that why they have so many R32 Skyline GTR's and not the R33, or R34.
