I hate macs, had to use one at school and it sux.
Among annoying things:
No windows

Had to send the computer to sleep before i could play a cd... WFT is that.

LOL yeah no windows is a good thing that means no freezing and no viruses among other things.

windows xp doesnt "freeze". its extremely stable and much like OS X, individual applications can crash but rarely the OS itself.

i use both macs and pc's. i own 3 pc's and work with macs. when i took this job i was an ardent mac hater. but since ive been here ive opened up a little bit to OS X. mainly the reason is that its unix, which i was used to from school.

HOWEVER.. the OS is WAAAAAAAY too much of a memory pig. as i said in earlier threads,.. my 233mhz laptop with 96mb of ram runs WinXP pro much better than the brand new 1.25ghz/256mb ram Mini's i have at work run OS X 10.3/4

now if i wanted to spend 4 grand on a computer and get a dual g5 then i guess the OS would be adequete.. but for my money id rather have a pc. more power with off the shelf parts and less money

I fully agree with that but a dual 2.5 ghz g5 with 8gb of memory will desotry about any desktop pc. I don't hate pc's just like macs better.
