OK so.... me and Brian are hanging out in front of the bar checking out some of bikes that were there when we notice a young looking kid pushing a KLR 650 on the side walk past us...it really didnt seem right so we kept our eyes on him and watched him park the bike infront of a garage on the block and then saw him continue around the corner and engage in a conversation with 2 other guys.. after a brief convo the two other guys came around the corner and grabbed the bike and started semi running with it.. so we followed them down an alley .. when we caught up to them the first kid and other guy ran leaving one guy behind.. i grabbed him and threw him into the wall and began fist fighting with him.. he punched me good in the face and then i drilled him the face and he dropped to the ground and was stunned for a bit, when i punched him i sprained my ****ing hand cus i hit him so hard..(see below pic) so he had time to get up and start running.. brian and i chased him for 4 blocks but we both ran out of gas and lost him :icon13:.. but to make this story have a happy ending the owner was reunited with his bike in perfect condition...i just got released from the hosp now, and will be out of commission for a bit...

Good intentions, stupid idea. It's good to see you trying to get the bike back, but you could have handled it a bit (a lot) more cautiously.

Low life thieves like that aren't afraid to stab someone or shoot someone. I applaud the courage and commitment of chase, but that doesn't mean I think it was a good idea. With enough yelling and chasing/following, you could have scared them enough to just leave the bike.

Well if they would have pulled a knife or gun they really wouldn't have been having a good day i can assure you that.

You beat the dude up because you assumed he was a thief? What if they werent criminals, took off because they saw two dudes following them at night and you beat up the one? Sounds like aggravated assault to me. You're lucky he didnt put some rounds in your stomach.

Oh get real! His actions are to be praised. They would of announced themselves as the owner and not tried to throw down! Sorry Chair but I believe in self justice when it warrants and this is one where I would of stepped up also.

Well I see it as an act to clean up the streets at all costs! If everyone had this outlook the streets would be alot safer. People have the power yet never use it, they would rather look the other way.

your an idoit... you would be the one to help jump start a car when the driver was using a screw driver as a key...

If you knew me you would know that I would know when sh*t isnt right...and as far as them putting rounds in my chest... i got .45 reasons why that would not have happened....

Just because you carry a ".45" doesnt mean crap. I guess you would have dodged his bullets like Neo and lite him up with yo gat. Shooting paper at a indoor range with a flashy, high caliber handgun doesn't make you Jason Bourne.

While Blue32 did something that any of us, if we were the owner of the bike, would have appreciated, I an see chair force's point. Having a gun doesn't do much if the other guy is ready to use his first.
