nah, we were just out having a little fun. nothing crazy, i just took the pictures cuz of the colors. i was surprised on how good they came out. i thought they were gonna be blurry and tooo dark. practice makes perfect.

i tried but supposedly a wave took out the firework setup that was gonna happen at the beach. and it rained where im at 10 min away so i didnt see anything. i think its on this fri or sat tho...

I had a perfect spot for the fireworks at the art museum. I was on the walkway of the Ben Franklin Bridge, and the art museum was pretty much right behind the skyline so I had a perfect setup to get fireworks in with the skyline. At around 9:20 a cop in a white Jeep is driving on the walkway with about 2" of clearance on each side kicking everybody off. Then I got stuck in traffic around 32nd & Race and got to miss everything. How awesome.

I did - no Tripod so these were ISO 2000 16-35mm F2.8L II, approx 1/50

I took like 300 - 350 pics but only got around to editing a few:

(a series)

and this one was cool because the timing was such that the firework acted as a flash
