Need regular service

I need to take my car to a shop to get some regular service done, Timing belt, water pump, I'd also like to get my oil pressure andexhaust temp gauges installed. The oil pressure one is going to be tricky, I don't have the clearance to run the sandwich ring adaptor due to my exhaust manifold on that side. So I'm hoping there is another point that can be tapped into.

Anyway. What i need is a over all estimate on time, being that this is my DD I'll probably have to wait with it, or get a ride out to where ever to drop it off.
and an over all estimate on parts and labor.

I'm surprised at the lack of response i've been getting from the vendors on the TST. So maybe someone can reccomend some where or do it themselves?

Not sure where you're from or if you tried them, but Andy at Verocious did my EGT tap, diff fluid change, etc... before we did my tune. Didn't take that long and was reasonably priced I thought. Only charged me $45 i think to tap my manifold. Usually your best bet is to call the shop directly rather than PM or email.

i haven't tried there. I agree it's best to call, but it's hard to get the time with my work schedule. But I'll see if i can't do that.

there are quite a few tst vendors who can get that done, but posting in their vendor forums directly, or sending them a PM directly doesnt work, then yeah just try to call.
for the oil pressure, you can use an oil galley plug which goes into the top of the engine and is a lot cheaper than the sandwich adapter too. you can get it at the dealer. you'll need the oil galley plug and corresponding crush washer.

i know fred (wkderf) just did a gauge install for bill (carbonis). he did all of the wiring, boost, oil pressure, and the only thing he didnt do was tap the exhaust manifold for the egt bung. thats an evening job if you want to try to break the stuff into 2 parts to fit it more easily into your schedule.

Chris, you have been in contact with us and I've replied to your email and havent gotten a response. Like I said in our forum, I didnt notice you posted.

As I also said, we make sure most of our common services are posted on our site for all to see and make that decision on their own.
