Light discoloration on flywheel surface. Safe to use?

I had my flywheel resurfaced a year ago and let it sit around. Its not rusted but It does have some slight discoloration on it. Is it safe to use as is? Should I clean it with something? Sand it? Or just use it?

Thanks a ton guys!
