Assuming that we are talking about the tv show, hardy har, it is a good concept, but it also has some major unavoidable faults that are inbred within it's structure.
1. Because they are racing for pinks, nobody is going to bring out a super high dollar car unless it is a large group project. This limits what kind of cars will be on the show and encourages monotony. No e46 m3's, zo6's, supra's, porsche's, etc. Hmm, what running this week? Oh yeah a n2o v8 vs. a n2o v8, go figure. This is taken care of in pinks all out, but that show has other problems of it's own.
2. You can usually tell what car is going to win early on by the way the time is managed. Example: if it's 2-0 with 5 minutes left, you can easily tell that the winning car will sweep unless it breaks.
3. The negotiation can get quite annoying and the better negotiating team usually wins. That Rich guy usually does a decent job of moderating, but there have been times where some unfair decisions were made. For example, during the best episode ever, the Lauffer driven bug was penalized a loss without even racing because mr. Rich thought that the vw team brought a car that was much faster than stated without proper enquiry into the matter. Fact was, it was more of a miscommunication issue with both teams and just as much a fault of the Honda team. Fortunatly(especially for the bug as it got a much better roll cage that could have saved the driver's life), the show was re-taken and made into a double with the honda turboed. For those that do'nt know, the bug crashed in the last race(yet we all know who would have won had it not crashed).

there are a bajillion other pinks threads and this one is a wee bit too general and undirected to warrant a new thread.
