I just watched an accident

I just spotted, a guy drive into the barrier of a fountain, in front of the philadelphia art museum...and I was the first person on the scene other than the guy who crashed. I was sitting on the steps in front of the museum..and it's huuuuuuge..anyways i heard a crash, and ran to check if whoever involved was alright or whatever, and it was only person, a black male, probably 30, in the front seat..bleeding. I asked if he was alright, and he was DRUNK AS ****. I tried to get him to get out and chill for a sec to see if he was okay, he hit his head on the windshield, and the horn was blaring. I tried to call the ambulance, but i didn't have a phone because i left it at the apartment we were staying in, as i did not want to lose anything on my adventure throughout the city tonight..someone else on a motorcylce, stopped, called the police, then left. Another car of three guys stopped, to see what was happening, while the guy in the accident kept going in and out of his car obvisouly intoxicated trying to turn the horn off. After the three guys left, the dude in the accident tried to turn his car back on and drive away, but could only go straight, so reversed back into the intersection. Now i've been talking to this guy the whole time, tyring to explain that hes drunk and it would be best for him to get out of the car, move away from the car, make sure hes alright and make sure he knows what hes doin. So now hes telling me he cant turn the horn off, as if hes not also trying to drive a totaled car. I think he thought i was tryin to get him in trouble..I knew he was in trouble no matter what, i tried to help him The cops came so i walked around the fountain, and then eventually left. So thats what i did tonight Thought i would share.

I saw an accident about a month ago it was crazy. This guy tried to beat a red light and the guy right in front of me went at the green light and the dude just PLOWED right into him. I called the cops first a whole bumnch of people run over and tryin to get the people outta the cars. The car probably hit the front of the other guys car at like 40-50MPH. One thing though the cops come she sees me and asks me some questions and this other detective i didnt notice came over and said dont worry I got it. I said ok and he goes did you see it and I went I'm the guy that reported it I was right behind the guy who was hit and he just says oh. Detectives can be real dicks.

that's pretty crazy.

right out front of where i work on Rt. 100 in bechtelsville there was a huge accident involving 5 cars and i was the one to call 911 and my coworkers and i were the first outside and i'll tell you one thing for sure, it was scary as hell. i work at a body shop so i've seen lots of smashed up cars and i know of most of their outcomes from word of mouth, so when i saw the one guy's car smashed completely to the windshield i was expecting to see a dead person. instead when i ran over to that guy's car i saw this guy that had been thrown almost out the passenger side window, he's bleeding from the ears and face, mumbling a little, and completely still. on the pass. floor is his blackberry cell phone, open, with half a message typed. dumbass was texting while driving, crossed the center lane, and went underneath the rear wheels of a flatbed truck. what a freakin mess.

anyway, i guess what i'm trying to say is i totally understand your situation, you never really know exactly what to do when you're the first one to the scene.

when i worked down the automall, i saw a guy hit a pole doing at least 70. i was on passyunk right where it curves and becomes essington, doin like 50 and this guy in a kia blows past me and just goes straight instead of turning with the road. he goes airborne and when he lands his airbags blow, but hes still moving probably like 40 into a pole and some parked cars. when he finally stopped, i though he was dead, so i called 911, then i turn around and this dude is up walking around. then this guys wife shows up and asked me what happened and when i told her she started calling me a liar. so i just told the cops what happened instead. this guy tried to say that his airbag went off and he lost control. just because the wife was such a bitch, i decided to tell the cops that he was speeding and the airbags went off when he hit the ground.
