firefox problem

Well my firefox automatically updated yesterday. Ever since then it has not worked, it keeps coming up with the "Unable to connect" page. Obviously my internet is working, im using IE right now. However it is still coming up with that error. I re-allowed the program on my firewall list and still nothing. If anyone has any suggestions as to why this happened please share.
