Got my first tattoo. The Nautical Star has deep meaning for me. Just thought I would share....

About an hour. Tattoo Artist was like you sure you want to get it here for your first? LOL. He said most painful spot

Ok. here is how it went down. I walked in and there was a guy getting a tattoo in the same spot. He was really sweating and complaining and would not stop moving.

I started to have second thoughts. MY TURN... I take the shirt off he puts the stencil on and first line began. It wasn't to bad. Then he hit the rib. THAT HURT. The line work hurt. I mean PAIN. But i didn't move. I am not sure what your threshold for pain is so I can't really measure it. It hurts. and is uncomfortable. Depending on how big you want it i would say that is going to be a good measure for how long you are going to be in pain. It was worth it and i would get it done again so was not the worst thing i have ever felt.

Oh and so far the healing process has sucked as well. You feel everymove and wearing shirts sucks.

lookin good, my nautical star is green and black right underneath my elbow you need to match it on the other side now

Awesome Dru!! Its decent size for your first. From what Ive heard that is the most painful spot aside from your knee ditch.

Im got a black and purple one on my forearm. Its my way of finding home everything life gets me lost.

The tattoo down my side, right where your is, was the one painful one once it got to the ribcage area. Nothing like that needle rattling some bones.
