White 300Z TT on Rt38

Was messing with a white 300Z TT on Rt38 tonight on the way to work around 11pm or so. He said that he had a boost leak, I believe and was hittin around 11lb's. He said his exhaust was dumped from the headers. Just wanted to see if he was on here. I didn't get much of a chance to shoot the **** with him cause I was on my way to work.

Was it all one color? My buddy has one that has a few different colored panels. I know I saw a white one cruise by olive garden tuesday also.

Looked to be all one color. No exhaust coming out the back, was dumped coming right off the motor. Didn't sound too good IMO..His boost leak or whatever must be pretty bad, cause from about 40mph, I began to drive away from him slowly. I mean, my car isn't slow, but against a TT anything, I shouldn't have all that much...Yet..lol

I meant, driving away cause he was turning off at the next light, yup that's my story and I'm stickin to it. Hmmm...Now don't get me wrong, I am an equal opportunity car enthusiast but man are there alot of imports rollin around anymore. I mean, it used to be little Hondas and Acuras and now it's all 300Z TT's, EVO's, and WRX's...Man...I love my GM though.

Anywayz...He seemed like a cool cat, turned off before I could talk any further.

But I am sure the exhaust is angled for back pressure to have a faster spool-up for larger size turbochargers @ low RPM

Yeah, I wouldn't have been able to deal with the exhaust sound if it were my ride. He was with me at first, then I started to pull. 2nd gear in the SS/SC's, especially when an intake and a couple small mods are done, are pretty decent. She pulls hard in 2nd. Not saying that I should be able to hang with a TT, but I do like surprising people. lol

Your car is pretty fast. The wine sounds goood. I was wondering who was on my ass for 3-4 miles at 70mph on 38.

But yea, I have open downpipes. I just got it back on the road and havent put the testpipes back on yet. It still isn't running right.

I have a big boost leak, and my car is breaking up pretty bad. My spark plugs are in the mail on their way, so that should fix the problem.

I live right in Pemberton, my boy has a Red TT. His is down right now, we are upgrading some things on it. But shoot me a PM, I want a rematch when I get it running right.

Yep, been living there for about 2 years now. If I get bored i'll cruise down 38 around 10 pm ish on my nights off. I've actually seen your car quite a few times, but you're always going the other direction. I usually just cruise, but things do happen.

I've never seen a white 300Z TT in Browns Mills area and I've been around for almost 5 years. LoL.. I always see the silver one with the big wing.

lol, well I just happen to know what you're talking about lol. I saw him just in passing until we both pulled into advance at the same time while I was driving the vette. It's modded with a turbo, but I didn't really ask his mods. My friend knows more about it than I do. I was in the middle of changing the oil on the T/A lol. As we got out of our cars it went something like this...

Me- nice car
him- you too. Why didn't you get the 5 speed?
me-(thinking umm You can only get them in 6 speeds/autos). I just bought it for cruising around. The race car is at the house.
him- oh ok.

He was inside talking to his buddies behind the counter. A little later he actually rolled by my house and did a double take when he saw the vette and me taking the drag tires off the T/A lol.
