restrictor pill

so friday night into saturday morning i was able to install my vf34 and the sti pinks i replaced the restricotr pill on the vacuum lines of the vf 34 with the restrictor pill from my stock td04 im just making surethat i didnt have to bore it out and if i did what size is it ......... i think i need a #55 drill bit but m not sure idk let me know thanks guys!

haha i honestly have a copper wire coupler in mine.. wide open basically... ur talking about the line going to the boost gauge right?

the line from the wastegate actuator to the 90 degree angle fitting on the compressor housing inbetween there is a little pill called a restrictor pill yeah that lil sucker

I know what you are talking about I talked to someone who did this, but im not sure what size hole you have to drill. If i see him at school before the semester is over ill ask him. I did a search on Nasioc and tons of results came up, but I didnt have enought time to go through them all.

what i did was just use the hose from the stock turbo. no issues

Ditto, use the pill from the stocker. Save the vf34 pill for later use if you are going to protune, ecutek tune, ect etc.

what they said... reuse the stock lines with the restrictor in them... dont know why they ship the IHIs with anything else, but they do.

Even if it doesn't reach, you replace the non-restrictor hose coming off the T with a longer hose of the same diameter and there should be no problems.

wait actually i have one problem. i have 2 sets. 1 for a TD04 and another for a VF34. how can i tell whats what now? last time i tried that with a long hose like you said, my cobb was only letting me boost maybe 15 psi on a stg.2 map. i hit that in first gear with my Perrin MBC on but i never pass 18. couldnt i just reuse that and mind my gas pedal?

ok here ya go
get WD-40 or like 3 in 1 oil
put some in the vacuum line and take an eye glass screwdriver and put a peice of felt of a paper towel around it and slide the restrictor pill out its easy!
