Found a good 16g should i buy?

I found a mint bullzeye 16g very low miles on it. the guy is willing to do 525 shipped plus the paypal fee. Its a little out of my range but i really would be happy on this turbo. should i take the plunge or save my money?

i have but bullseye makes alot of turbos
i cant be sure if their 16g is flanged for the wrx if it is jump on it son
u need to make sure there is no shaft play (obviously) and ask apporximate mileage otherwise your gonna buy a beat turbo id be curious also to find out why he got rid or the 16g but
overall if its legit id say do it they work real well on ej20's gl!

he didnt say why, i think hes going rotated though. his car dynoed 340 on it and only had it for a few thousand miles. its got 0 shaft play, looks brand new and it came off his WRX so its flanged. I already have a set of STi pinks waiting for it. i just gotta pick up a walbro and a new AP map for the 16g.

nope
most guys with the 16g will run pinks or detsch works 650's but you should be fine with pinks

I would do modded stocks. You may run out of room with the pinks, depending on how much boost you want to run. Better safe than sorry kid!!

If your planning on going with an external waste gate you would probably want bigger injectors than the pinks, as they would probably be your limiting point. Internal waste gate should be fine though.

yeah EWG isnt high up on my list. I just figured that now would be a good time to look into another turbo. ive got 31k on this one, and pulled a 13.2 from it. It served its purpose. now i can go faster on less boost.

mmmmm modded stockers are good but those detschwerks are sweet and about the same price of pinks so sell ur pinks and buy the detschwerks

pinks are fine for a small 16g... no reason to go larger than you need.

i dont know much about bullseye or why they are priced at $900+ though? the FP 16G is like $700 i think.

if its in good shape though it sounds good... as long as bullseye checkes out.
and yeah, 340 is a stretch. dimitri would never let a lowly 16g make more than his super race car!

Don't listen to Bryan, he is still mad because he is driving around in his mid 13 sec economy wrx.

I'm pretty sure the pinks would be maxed out at 20psi, which is around what a good tuner would put you at.
