I have an Eclipse 5504 and 5062 (i believe) 6CD changer, both work excellent and have original boxes/manuals for each. I do however have an issue that I cannot find in the manuals. My CD player just started flashing: INFO 1 across the screen and it blinks the message constantly. If I have my display settings on EQ, or Clock, this still comes up after a minute.

Does anyone know what INFO 1 means? I can't find it in the manual and everything seems to work great. hmmmph. I thought maybe it was my CD or something, but it happens with any cd in the player or any CD in the changer. I'm hoping its just a setting that I have to configure or something.

I had an Eclipse ages ago that did this and I can't remember if it needed cleaned or needed Unlocked with my CD! I am leaning towards it cannot read the CD and needs to be cleaned.

I cleaned all my cds and it has gone away...guess they're just really sensitive!
