Another car stereo question...

Totally forgot I was going to have 2 amps in my system, and I've already got one wired up using a single-amp wiring kit. Now, how am I going to wire up the second amp? Buy another single-amp kit, or can the first wiring kit be used in conjunction with both amps somehow (and still be safe)

I've never run more than one, so I'm a n00b really at this. I've hooked up many single amp systems, just none with two or more. What would you recommend if you were in my place?

thx

Chris

and use a seprate ground too. dont jump pff the ground of the other amp. you will get a humming or whining nose.

what they said and if your amps are big you are better off running a 4g red wire if you want to get this stuff cheap go to wallmart

I've got 8-gauge power/ground so I should be ok. Question, when I use a separate ground for the 2nd amp, can I use the same location as the first ground, but just use a separate wire? Will that still incur the 'humming' noise?

what i like to do is find another place to ground out too. its just easy that way. but you can jump off the remote wire on the first amp. but if you use the same ground as the first it wont hurt.

I'm going to run a second ground wire from the same location since the amps will be in close proximity. If it makes noise I'll just re-locate it.
