Roomy was browsing Ebay for a DSM and came across this.. He sent the link to me.. This just looks horrible to me.Anyone else think so?

On pickup trucks that sort of thing is cool, but ive seen this kind of thing done to old Mopars and it made me cry. :-( I just thinks it a horrible thing to ruin a perfectly good car? I love my drop top :-P

Oh dont get me wrong.. I love drop tops but a 1G DSM IMO is NOT the car for that...

That was for sale at Davis Acura a couple of months ago next to a chrysler sebring with a body kit and wing. Both of them were nasty.

I actually find that to be pretty cool looking. I know there is a guy with a white 2g on DSMTuners who did this to his car and it looks effin' sweet! As for the second car, that guy should pay me whatever the ending bid is to push that off a cliff. That 2g is beyond help...

2G it looks sweet on,but on a 1g I dont think it looks right..just my opinion tho. And the second one I THINK is a 1G as well.. Its just too messed up looking to tell.

i think they are both 1g's cause didnt the 2nd gen start in 95?

Technically Mid 94... But Yes 95 - 99 is a 2G

Yea, I took a second look you are right it's a 1g. I just took a quick glance and saw a bubbly body, but I just checked out the headlights and the finer details. I still stick with my original statement about the cliff though.

I think it looks awsome. They need to lower the cross bar above thier heads to the level at or below the windshield but not so low as to completely negate any benefits it would have in a roll over. Im sure the chassis took a hit when they chopped the roof off but with the cage and some bracing under the car I dont think chassis flex would be a problem.
