Was driving on 202 (edit: might have been on 276) by West Chester at about 3:30am today. Saw a bunch of fire trucks surrounding a car that had been burnt to a crisp as I passed by. Looked pretty nasty. Infront of the fire trucks pulled over on the side of the road was a 04/05blue STi. Just wondering if this was anyone on here. If so WTF happened?

it was a turbo rsx. they were doing "top speed runs" and his car caught on fire. i think it was what 165mph that it happened? anyway, everyone is allright which is aall that matters, even if hes an idiiot for doing it

how do you know this? who are your sources?

it was 476 and i was there...hit 170 and somthing went wrong and oil went everywhere. fire slowly went to the back and to the gas tank. go to off-topic thread. its in there.

edit: if you were on 202 or 276 it wasnt us. hopefully everyone is alright if there was another one. were u in the 06 wrx??
did you happen to see a black srt4 and black integra sitthing there before the fire?? if so it was us

Now how did you know you hit 170? The speedo on an RSX only goes up to 160...?

PS - 170 on a public road (if its even true) is retarted.

thats what he told me and hes got a picture on his phone that the passenger took of the needle past 160. it wasnt stock. at 230 in the morning who cares. thats your opinion.

wasnt the west chester area where a bunch of kids from UTI got into the other lane a few weeks ago and killed someone from oncoming traffic ?

wonder if they were doin the same "test and tune" that u guys were...

come on guys, if ur gonna drag race, do it on I-195 where everyone else does it, thats much safer.........wait.....ooooops

Yeah I guess it was on 476 then. I got on 476 from 276, thought I saw it earlier in the trip, but it was 3:30 and I was tired.

Yeah I was the silver 06 wrx that passed by. Good to hear that everyone's OK though even if it wasn't the smartest idea. Sucks about the car though.

yeah i cant say i'd be upset if every car that hit speeds like that spontaneously combusted. no excuse for that type of behavior. thats my opinion.

it wasnt a "test and tune" we were just driving fast. we've all done it and some are luckyer then others. plain and simple.
