Inspection question!

So I'm taking my MSP in for brake work on Thursday .. and I just figured that while it's in the shop, I might as well have it inspected.

But one thing -- I currently have an HID kit installed that does NOT have high-beams. Are high-beams a requirement to pass inspection? Will I fail without them?

I do have the stock bulbs, but I'd rather not have to disconnect all the wires and rip off all the shrink wrap and electrical tape unless it's absolutely necessary. Y'know.

Thanks in advance!

Well it depends on how cool the shop you go to is. They are required for inspection, but I know at my shop if we were notified that the car was converted to HIDs it would probably pass still.

technically, u fail. but most shops are such hacks they wont even check to see if the highbeams work anyway...

Thanks for the input, guys .. Looks like I'll just pop in my stockers for a day. Better safe than fail!

Well you pay the same price pass or fail...If you fail then you can slap them in and take it back to be stickered. Might save you some time if they pass it with out brights.
