If any of you know much about NHRA then you probably know about Eric Medlin passing away Friday. He was a young and rising star in funny car and was only getting better as time went on. He was testing in Gainsville last week a couple days after the race and hit the wall and had head trauma. He was barely surviving at the time and his parents decided to yank him off what he was taking to survive. It is a very sad moment for everyone in NHRA. He leaves behind his daughter and wife.

May he RIP. Its always a tradgedy to lose somebody, but especially so somebody so young.
