Lets use this thread for getting together to paddle out, stories, etc. I'll post up surf reports from surfline here, etc.

I'm almost always going out at manasquan and have a 6'2 Kechele Stub Fish.

Monday 4/16
SURF:
6-8 ft. - head high + to 3 ft. overhead with occasional 10 ft. and poor+ conditions.

AM Report:
clean to semi-clean with some large sets. winds are W early and will be NW today. conditions are clean to semi-clean and on the verge of being blown out. not rideable, very high tides and dangerous conditions

Friday morning at 7:05 AM. SURF:
2-3 ft.+ - knee to chest high with occasional 4 ft. and poor conditions.

AM Report:
choppy, blown-out, messy, disorganized windchop conditions with strong and gusty NE winds this morning.

Looks like winds should turn W Saturday and could see 6ft +. Weather doesnt seem to be cooperating too much though.

Manasquan's great, good to see a semi-local. I surf Belmar mostly, and go to Spring Lake, Asbury Park, or Deal when it gets too crowded or when those breaks are better. I surf Manasquan maybe once-twice a year, but don't know anyone down there. Usually ride a 5'10 Ezera fish, sometimes longboards

head-high with west winds sounds awesome. Too bad it's snowing, and I'll be the first too admit I'm not up for hopping through the snow in a fleece-lined dry suit. Give me back Wednesday's weather, haha

i had a 5'11 kechelle i just sold it tho i surf alot in lbi last year me n my 2 friends surfed about 8 to 10 footers . there was 2 good days and the second one was insane. dono if u got to surf that week i know it was in august i forget what cain it was in tho. the first day it was sooooo calm then all the sudden a huge wave would come it was like surfing in the tropics or some **** it was scary droping into a wave like that.

I think I remember which one you're talking about. I couldn't get out for it due to work, but heard it was pretty epic

Yea ur tellin me. Its my spring break and I wanted to at least get down to the beach, and if it was good hell id buy a thick suit and paddle out. But this is just ridiculous.

Oh hey the shop that you said was having a sale, do they have a website?

, but i go out where ever i can find a wave. I usually spend alot of my summer down in hatteras since we have a house, but i love the break in jersey too. I posted this in the njsurferchic's welcome thread but we should get together and go out. Hopefully not too many of us though im not trying to crowd the line-up. Oh and I surf my 6' 3" Kinetic crusher alot, first shirt board freaking love it and cant get rid of it. Also have my 6ft. jake fish and my 7' 4" which is a blast for goofing around on. I also saw in njsurferchic's welcome thread that one of you has a perfection? I was just wondering where you got it? I used to go to school down in S.C. which is wear perfection and kinetic are shaped. ok sorry for all the nonsense, i just get super pumped thinking about going out

Wow somebody knows perfection. I'm the one who has it. I got it from village surf shop down in garden city SC. I've been going there for about 2 weeks every summer for the past 8 years or so. I love the board

wow i havent heard village surf shop in awhile. So then you know that Surf City makes Kinetic and Village makes Perfection and its like super rival down in myrtle haha. If you dont have one you have the other. Yea even though I surf kinetic, I do enjoy perfection. I just surf kinetic because Im best friends with the owner's daughter of surf city

Haha yea, pretty much everyone in garden city surfs perfections, and after surfin with locals for years i needed to step up my game haha. Thats a good reason for ridin kinetic tho

Its all extreme chop in monmouth beach/long branch area- as i am looking out the bf's window (he lives across the street from the beach) water is a crisp 28 degrees- anyone down for a polar bear run?!?! lol
If we all get together we could swing by a nice spot and get a lil meet going on after a sweet session- would be sweet pics for the jersey section and PA(thats for you -4)

I think it'd be really cool to have everyone go out one day. We could pick a place or time that's not too crowded if we get too big a group, but I don't think it'd be a huge issue.

20 degree NW winds in this weather is ridiculous, I'd consider not getting out of my car, let alone going in the water. Take pics if the inlet's going off. Seaside might be good with it's protection from the wind.

I have a 6'4 rawson, 6'6 Al Merrick, 7'0 Surfboard Australia and a 9 foot Time Bomb.

Im always out, my college is down the street from the beach.
