I know the kid who's car that is. . .I work with him. It's an N/A still (as far as I know anyway). He's getting a turbo conversion and a load of other work done to the car. More specifically, his dad's getting the work done, and then giving it to him (he's 17)

He always wants to race people 'next year when the car's finished'

We both work in Hamilton. He lives in Hamilton so that's probably why you don't see it much. He's getting his work done by Larkin's (technically, their performance shop 'maxout') over in Ewing, but I don't know how often the car's actually round this way since the motor apparently hasn't been pulled yet.

*Sigh*

I hate kids who get all their work done and paid for by parents and shops.

Relax, bud. When the dude with a drag Honda and a boosted daily that has had fast Honda's for years AND fabs his own parts tells the new kids on the block that they're doing it wrong, it's time to step back and learn something.

He kinda does, but there's no point to hating because it's not going to change the outcome of the situation. So I just let him talk about how it's going to school everything this side of the Mississippi next year when it's done and then go back to whatever I'm doing.

There's no doubt that his dad is going to go through with the swap. And there's no doubt that Steve Larkin can build a mean ass supra, but I hope his dad realizes that his 17 year old son is not ready for a 600whp (that's what they're shooting for) RWD car and sells it someone who won't treat it's their first car.

I like em a lot. Vibration isn't too crazy at idle and my motor doesn't fly all over the place under load. Of course that was because my stock ones were in pieces when I took em out.

Yeah, mine were so bad the motor was sitting lower than it should which made the rear of my exhaust rest against my bumper and melt it a little.
