Anyone attending Penn Tech?

I was just wondering if anyone on here will be attending Penn College of Technology next year or anytime for the automotive technology or anything else.

Yep, exact same situation as guy above me. Also, are you in the Honda PACT program?

Also to Spec V, I think your uncle (Dad?.. sorry forgot the relation) is my dentist... haha. He was asking all about the school last time I saw him and said you drive a black spec v. Then I saw your friend with the white prelude (forget his name) at a Stoney Creek meet, and he mentioned his friend with a spec v was going to penn college, and I put it all together.

Be careful with the Honda Program. the teacher who is in charge of the program is really good but the way the school has allowed him to set it up SUCKS.

why sell the spec-v and why a wrx?? just wondering. you will make loads of wrx friends up at pct.

it sucks for me being one of the only bmw people up there. (about 3-5 total) but then again im trying to sell the car and ill have my caddy up there now!! (hell yeah for a free luxuary beater car)

Agreed on the Honda program. I am already thinking of ditching it. If I stay in it, its only because whos teaching it.

Yeah the only 2nd year students including me all have a meeting with the Dean tomorrow (theres 3 2nd year students out of 18 that signed up). As it looks right now i am probably dropping it. the school ****ed it all up, the instructor is great.

4 YEARS… you guys are crazy. F school just work, there’s no point to it. They just take your money and screw you over. Sorry I just have had bad experiences. But I do have a question if anyone doesn’t mind answering. Why 4 years you can get a auto degree in 1 year at a hole bunch of places?

Well I'm 4 years because I plan on opening up a buisness eventually, not just working on cars. And I don't know if those other places are worth it, I heard bad things about lincoln tech, wyotech, etc.

I was here for 2 then it became 2.5 because I joined late, then it became 3 with the Honda program, then i said **** it and might as well stay 4.

Yes Steve I have been known to be crazy

Its only 2 years of automotive and then 2 years of business management. And like Nors said I will be opening my own shop in a couple of years so I want the business management.

Also the other schools are for automotive certificates. They offer that here and it’s about a year and half, they also have the associate’s degree which is 2 years and the bachelors degree which is the 4 year one.

You can get the education in only one year for auto and if you really wonted you could go to bucks and take like 6 months worth of classes for bisiness.
