Well only a few people on here actually know I just spent the last 11 days in the hospital. For like 4 days straight I had this knife hurting pain in my right lower ab so finally Monday morning I made an appointment to see my family doctor.

I went to my family doctor around 2:30pm and within 10 mins he diagnosed me with appendisitis and to get to the ER ASAP before it ruptured. So anyway I was like alright no problem, got in my car and drove home to get a ride to the ER. Well I got home and made it into my driveway and collapsed in my driveway. So I woke up in an ambulance on the way to the hospital and was admitted.

ANYWHO...to make a long story short I spent 11 days in the hospital with many catscans, biopsies, and scope prodecures to come to find out I have Crohn's Disease

It makes sense because all my life I have had a weak GI to certain foods, etc, Anyway I have to take all kinds of medicine 3 to 4 times a days for the rest of my life and im pretty pissed off about it.

Just thought Id vent......oh yeah and I left my passenger side window down in the WRX and it filled up with snow....:DOH:

Well at least you went to the doctors and they found it before your appendix ruptured.

be lucky you got to the ER when you did because a ruptured Appendix is no joke . Sorry to hear about Crohn's Disease, its more of a pain in the ass than anything. glad to hear youre home

Thats guys, on a lighter note it actually was NOT my appendix it was in my lower GI which is basically on top of my appedix, So for now I lay here on my laptop resting and getting better

hope you well in the future. My friend also found out about this late in his life, kinda pissed cause he collapsed in the middle of our hockey game.

Yeah its really a nuissance theres nothing i could have done to stop it, its hereditary even if it was 10 generations ago I just have to live my life by taking almost 24 pills a day

what ever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. think of it this way, your still here, appendisitis is pretty serious and deadly (not that you don't know already). get well soon

I have a good friend with Crohn's, she was bummed when she first found out but now she just takes her meds every day like a vitamin or whatever and she deals with it.

it wasnt his appendix...

That sucks man......the pills thing sucks. Both of my parents are on a lot of meds, mostly due to unhealthy lifestyles when they were younger though.

The meds will become more of a routine then anything else though....and even though I dont know you, im sure you'll adjust quickly. Espically since you know those pills will keep you alive.
