Finally got a car!

Ok after spending about 6 months without a car after my parents sold my integra when i went away to school i finally found a replacement!

Its a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T
3.0L V6
5SPD Manual
72,XXXK miles

Thats the only pic that I have of it that I pulled off of Autotrader, I'll take more pics when I get some time.

Heres some pics of the teg:
Heres some pics when my dad played a trick and acted like he was selling the car while I was away in germany for a month

heres some more pics after i made some changes after it was hit in the acme parking lot (i got the carbon fiber hood for less than a stock hood would have been with paint)

i also put a monitor in the dash, dvd player in the glove box, and hooked my N64 up in the back seat, also new rims after i slid into a curb and destroyed one of my rims

Yea its a little place run by one guy, he seemed like a good guy and the car is in immaculate condition and I purchased a 1 year warrentee

My dad didnt like it at all, stuff kept breaking, also the insurance was way too high (it was in his name so the insurance would be a little cheaper) and i could barely afford it, but they sold it without lettin me kno.....

thanks a lot ill keep you guys posted when i get some money together and am able to start doin some work to it

Looks good , those cars are basically 3g eclipses with a different body AFAIK. So all that **** should be the same, oh and the throw out bearing creaking/noise is stock and something mitsu****ty messed up at the factory.

But they have a good aftermarket , oh and www.deadeclipse.com , look through that make sure you dont have any issues before you mod.

YAY!!! I ran into my first problem already, I pulled it into the garage to change the oil and the frickin drain plug is stuck like a mofo..
im assuming that it just stuck in there cause its so fricken cold out so im gonna let it thaw out for a little while and give it another try but i dont wanna try and force it....
speaking of thawing out im gonna go back to bed, it took SO much longer to shovel my driveway than i expected and I wasnt dressed approriatly at all lol

Yea i kno that its basically the same car as the eclipse and i have a good friend that has had a silver eclipse gt 5speed and he loves it, hasnt had any problems at all, well other than his basketball net falling on it multiple times haha, also my dad works for the state of new jersey and they have stratus automatics with the same engines for their cars that they go out in and he loves it, so Im just gonna hold onto this for a while until I have money to get another car and ill just sell this one to my dad, plus we got a really good deal an 01 for $5200, well just have to see how things work out
