Well my 4runner died and I can't drive the Z in the winter .. so I bought a new baby :

some pics below :

Car seems to drive very well. I can tell that the torque steer will be a PITA. I plan to use this as my daily driver - so I am not too interested in modding it.

Are there any good links / VW forums available where I can brush up on my Jetta knowledge base ?

haha the GLI's aren't usually too bad with check engine lights.. the main thing is the coilpacks and the water pump impeller..

very nice... how many miles? water pumps usually go bad every 30k unless you upgrade from the plastic one. and lemme get that interior for my mk3 haha.

Looks good, made me miss my wolfsburg until I flipped through all the bills and remembered my check engine light was always on lol. Good luck with it.

Nice GLI...my friend Amy has the same one. Just watch cause they tend to have a fair amount of problems. dont know how many times hers has been to the dealer for work

i must have gotten lucky with my wolfie.. i have 90,000 miles on her and 2 trips to california.. i replaced the waterpump with the metal one and got s4 coilpacks.. but the only check engine light i got was when my 02 sensor got knocked out. other than that no problems with it at all. hell i have 100+ passes at the track and still have the stock clutch
