Anybody ever get a parking ticket in a rental car?

My sister got one today in philly. She was wondering if she could get away without paying it since she is in a rental car. I'm assuming there is some way they can track her down if she doesn't pay, but i'm not sure.

Instead of the headache just tell her to pay it. I think the last parking ticket I got in Philly was 40 bucks.

I did, she doesn't want to pay. If it was me I would just pay the ticket and be done with it.

what im assuming is.. the police will run the plate, see that it belongs to a rental company and see who had said car on the specified date

idk where, but in some states the tickets are assigned to the car rather than the driver, so technically you can sell your car and leave the worries to someone else...

but just pay the tickets, or park right the first time

Thanks for the feedback guys, it sounds like she is going to have to pay the ticket. Oh well, i'll just have to give her the bad news then
