Getting my car painted. What else to ask for?

Alright my car will be going for paint in about 2 weeks. He said 2 weeks because he has some worked backed up at the shop. I asked him a couple of things yesterday, but I wanted to ask here if there was anything I should ask him before dropping it off?


He said he has a one year warranty against peeling, cracking, and fading. He will have to take the front bumper off and some other stuff. Strip some of the parts including hood. Work with the sideskirts because they rub the door. He said the sideskirts look to him to be the hardest part of the car right now.


He said it will take 3-4 weeks to complete.


I'm not going to say what shop until the work is complete and I have my car in my possession and I won't say how much. I'm going to him because I've seen his work on 2 cars and he came recommended from a friend. Off course both cars came from the same shop that my friend owns and works at. And the painter also loves Rotaries.

you want the fenders hood front and back bumper and the side skirts sprayed off the car!!!! any spots fixed like dents you want that spot primered and the whole car better get wet sanded good so that the paint sticks and looks good!!! if your getting the whole car painted get all the body work done to you mine as well
