Bye bye, Paragon. We will miss you for awhile.

I just saw on the local news that Paragon has until Monday to "vacate the premesis." Apparently sometime in 20-whateverthe**** there is going to be a cargo only airport built and our only off-road park is in the way of progress.

It's great that they're trying to build the PA economy with these projects, but I'm going to blame that when I get in trouble for trespassing. Again.

Not that it matters to most of this forum, but to the guys that cringe when they have to get their vehicles inspected, not because of a missing cat or EGR, but because your tires are too wide, your bumpers are too high, and your lighting is illegal, this means a lot.

Think of all the dragstrips closing at once. It's the same idea to some of us.l

I'm weeping right now. Paragon is/was on hell of an off-road park. Screwed once again.

And Hazelton residents thought they had it bad with illegals before....Just wait until the cargo airport comes to town.

I'm assuming they siezed it through "eminent domain." I doubt they'll let us even have half of the park for wheeling. They haven't even done anything about this goddamned airport yet besides say where they want to put it and apply for a couple of grants, and they've already told Paragon to get the **** out? This is ridiculous.

The landlord is a lawyer. His partner represents the buyer, who is partnered with the judge and local representatives in the airport deal. That is what I gathered from everything I have read. Sounds like a lose/lose situation.

Yeah everything I've read so far makes the whole thing seem kind of fishy. Something definately isn't right.
