My Ride:
2007 Subaru WRX

strut tower brace

do i need to tighten the strut braces on as it says in the manual to 14 if i remember correctly, or can i just torque it down as tight as possiable. i just installed my front and rear. will it cause any type of loss in handling?

I recall it being ~12lbs - 16lbs.

No. Thats how bolts and washers break under heavy stress.
