are you sure it wasnt fake? because when they showed fullscreen it was still clear as day that SOMETHING was there. you'd think that tons of people would have noticed it

the only reason we notice it while it plays at normal-speed is because we were already told what we were looking at. Someone who is just watching the show for the first time would only have noticed a very brief red flash on the screen, if anything.
