nice, i'm psyched for my alky. i assume that you got tuned for it, didnt just put it on and do some pulls right?
are you doing straight meth, or meth/water, or what? what kit are you using? any failsafes?

video of that run. autometer gauge is off by 2psi. so when you see 14psi, its really 16psi.

do you know that when you add meth/water into the air/fuel mix it throws of your wideband by about one point? i dont have any real experience with it myself but i now it complicates things when tuning when you're going off of an AFR... i believe 12.5 with alky is similar to 11.5 without it, but dont quote me on that since there are multiple factors that play into it.

i just talked to the company that sells this WI kit. the guy says that your not really injecting enough meth with a 50/50 mix, to throw your a/f ratio off. however, since water injection has similar benefits to race gas (cylinder cooling), you can now run a leaner a/f ratio and still be safe. so if you normally run great at 11.5 afr... you could now tune to 12.5 afr, gain power and still be safe.

thats not mine, thats the other swapped celica that showed up. he just swapped his car a few months ago. my car is pretty much not in the video... only shot of mine is the one where you see the wideband and speedo during the run that the dyno sheet is from.

that DSM was very impressive to look at. sadly he kept having all kinds of issues with it. i think the most he hit was 350hp. not sure if he did anything better then that cause i had to leave.
