Custom Shrouds???

I noticed you guys are in Northern Dirty Jersey --

so... do you guys make custom shrouds (for a TSX projector retro)?

Many people on HIDplanet make custom shrouds out of ABS plastic and sometimes even fiberglass.

I am biased toward OEM shrouds such as E55/E46 since they provide more of an OEM look.

until I started to dry-fit everything and realized I'm f'd with Plan-A

I might use a Rice-bowl to use as shroud (it almost completely covers the TSX flange)--- I'm gonna put a pic later in the official Shroud thread.

Ceasar have you done a retro with TSX projectors?

If so, do either the E46 or E55 shrouds work?

If I am not mistaken isn't the TSX projector about 2.8" in diameter and the E55 shroud is for a 3" projector like the TL, and the E46 is for a 2.5" projector?

Please correct me if I am wrong. I too would like to use an OEM shroud with a TSX projector if at all possible, and am looking for some advice on any OEM shrouds that may work.

For example.. Even though the lens size is not 3" you can still use the e46 bixenon shrouds or the the e55's on a tsx or s2k... The chrome ring it has around it makes it a solid 3 inches so it fits great actually...I can take some pics for you if needed.

Thanks alot for the Info Ceasar, if you could post some pics that would be great. I am definitely interested in using an OEM shroud.

After doing more research it turns out that the TSX projectors diameter is actually just about the same size as the stock halogen projectors on '94-'01 Integra's (it's actually a hair smaller). So for that reason a majority of people who retrofit TSX projectors just use the stock bezel (unmodified reflective housing).
