That's so stupid. Sealand is a crappy "island" and it's way over-priced. Even though the owners would accept anything more than 100 million dollars, it is still way too expensive. There are great islands out in the South Pacific that don't cost anymore than 10 million. Some as low as 1.5 million or even a few hundred thousand dollars. But, even if they do buy their own country, I bet you that the MPAA will start a war with them - literally.

I wouldn't spend 2 million dollars on that hunk of junk let alone 2 billion.

Yeah but they will make their money back with that.

The Pirate Bay used to be one of the largest piracy sites out there. They have TONS of pay-advertising...and if they get that...they are OUTSIDE of ALL piracy laws...being their own technical country and all.

They could do it...they are beating the system every time the system jumps on them now...if they get it...it's over.
