84 Monte Carlo SS UPDATE 5/13/07

Few months back i got my monte it had a 350 in it then my friend put a olds 455 in it. His dad made him sell it so i got it for $1000. I was siked now its my project car.

need to finish the fender

Cleaning up the engine then painting

roller rocks and double value springs done by spyder prep

Got alot more stuff to do i'll update

Just finished painting the engine

3/16/07
So i haven't updated this in a long time so i'm going to give everyone a run down.

Its nasty out side w/ all the snow so my plans for the weekend are done

But next weekend i plan on putting in my new big block springs and new kyb shocks in the rear.

Than i have to put my heater block off on where the heater use to be

Also i'm going to sand the engine bay primer it than paint it with a nice glossy black

Then i hope to get the engine in that following weekend expect alot of pictures

New Springs

I also degreased the engine bay

before

After

Then I also made a block off where my heater use to be

Before

After

Tommorrow i'm going to sand the engine bay to get ready for paint

All done been driving it around got some new exhaust and need to get it street legal anytime now.

Need to clean up the engine bay and hide the wires this week

Heres some pictures of my headers

Yea the fourth tube goes under the frame rail and than over it

And then i got exhaust put in it sounds pretty sweet

Looks like a good project car. Nice to see other downingtown people on here. Does spyder do good work I was thinking of taking a head there to get it rebuilt. It would be nice to have a good machine shop that close.

Nice project. What cam is in there? Harland Sharp rockers...nice. Plenty of low end torque with that motor.
