Update on the 86 Camaro IROC-Z

Well the Camaro that I planed to pick up on Saturday was a complete waste of time and made me feel bad lol. Me and my father were going to go up together to do the paper work and tow the car back home. Well i talked with the seller a few days before and he said "yeah i am back from my trip and this Saturday is good". I also made plans with him like 2 weeks before he went on his trip to get the car June 4th. Well I call the guy Friday night just to make sure and I get no word. So i left him an email as well. Saturday comes along and I try his cell phone and nothing, call the company he works at, nothing, then I call the towing service he does, and they said they would try to get in contact with him. I also text message him, and email him again. Today is now June 6th and I haven't heard one word from him... This really sucks
I was going to get a pretty good deal on the Camaro, and was so happy that finally i was getting a 3rd gen Camaro i loved. Well now that was shot down into the gutter. However I have come across another one that I hope will have a better outcome. Its a 1985 IROC-Z with a brand new 305 High output (rare) and a new 5 speed tranmission. The motor has 800 miles, and the trans has 200 miles. There are a list of more parts that were replaced however i won't go into much detail yet. It just seems alittle fishy. In has damage to the rear quarter panel right above the tire, and the driver side door. I was worried about the quarter panel damage, but have been told by a few people the damage can be repaired easy. So will keep you updated on the car.

That sucks man. Hopefully something will pop up that works for you.

The 305 was a junk motor BTW. I had one in my SS Aerocoupe, it was cool for burnouts, but had no real grunt. It was a 16 second motor at best.

Yeah I know the 305 isn't anything great, its still a V8 for the time being. Be doing an engine swap in the early future anyway.. just need to get the darn car first lol.
