Testing: Paintless Dent Removal Day.

I saw the idea in another thread and didn't see any action on it...so I figured I'd try to jump the gun.

We need...

- Place to keep everyone (large parking lot or something like that).

- PDR Professional.

- Time.

Ideas//contact information?? POST IT UP!!

I just talked to my friend. He said he will definitely do it. All we need is a time and place. Depending on how many cars show up he is going to give discounts. If a lot show up and he can't get to everyone, he is willing to set up another group day at an area closest to you. I can make a suggestion for a place, The Pennsauken Mart? All he asks for is not an extremely cold or rainy day. He also does minor windshield repair so he will bring that kit with him too. Just let me know what you guys want to do.

I'd like to know as well. I researched paintless dent removing and a local place was going to charge $120 for a quarter sized dent? seems high to me? And being that i have 3 fist sized dents on my hood and a few small dents along the body. it's out of my league. But if the prices are fair I might be interested.

It is $100 to start. If you have 4 dented panels or more it will be around $50 (which is wholesale price/what a dealership would charge) a panel after that. If it is less then 4 panels he adjusts it accordingly, but it is not $100 per panel. Your price will depend on the size, location, and severity. Depending if your dent is located along the body lines of the car he may not be able to pull the whole dent out, so he will adjust pricing accordingly. He was explaining everything over the phone to me today. He does excellent work and is very fair with his prices. He works out of his truck so even if he can't get to you during our dent day, (this depends on how many people are there) he can set something up with you either individually or he will do another group day. He also can repair rock chipped windshields and will bring that kit with him too (I don't know pricing on that). If we do get this together he will be giving a discount based on the number of cars that are there. The only thing he asks for is that it is not an extremely cold or rainy day. Just let me know when and where you guys want to get together and I will let him know.

Thanks,
Chip

$100 minimum for a dent day with 5 or 10 cars? maybe i'm wrong, but that seems really high to me, and I don't mind saying that since he's not a vendor on here or anything. A couple people have gotten in touch with me about PDR guys so I think we should look into a couple options before committing to the first guy who pops up. If we bring 5-10 cars to one location for someone and they make 50-100 a car, they're looking at ~$400 for a half or full days work give or take...

count my wagon and maybe my expedition in. Ten cars X $100 is a good days work for someone. For one ding, $50 is ok but some of us have more than one AND will be at least $100. Im in.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am very skeptical about an outdoor PDR guy. I sure as crap would not want someone fixing my dent outdoors without proper lighting while it's cold out and have people waiting..just my opinion because I am very anal about my car. I got a dent and I have not even looked at the car let alone drive it in a month. I would think it would be in you guyses best intrest to at least accomidate this person with an indoor facility..
