Performance Driving schools

Want to expand my driving horizons by attending a high performance driving school. Dont want to work with top notch cars, but just manuevering, handling techniques, shifting techniqeus etc. Anyone know anything reasonably priced? I would prefer if they had rental cars there because I dont want to beat the ass out of mine

You got the Bob bondurant racing school in Arizona, Panoz racing school in Sebring and the Audi school there too. There is PDA and othere schools that will tech how to drive your car. And there is numerous Formula ford racing schools, like Skip Barber.

look at the local tracks and see if they have an open DE event scheduled. I know BMWCCA has a bunch of them at tracks all over so i dont know if they are car/club spacific but it be worth wild to check them out.

Bill Scott runs a super good program at Summit Point in West Virginia. They offer different performance driving courses at better prices than most others. They use Chevy Impalas in their courses, so you don't need to beat the snot out of your car.

Skippy school is up in Lakeville, CT I think.
There is also BWMCCA as mention - they are affordable.

I'm seriously considering doing the 3 day Bertil Roos perfromance driving school at some point this spring or fall. It's held at Pocono and they use F2000 cars.

There are NASA HPDE's which are pretty popular with guys just getting into it. I honestly dont know much about them but I was going to look into this as well for next year. It would be driving your own car, but I want to do that anyway so I can learn more about it.
