I was going to bring my 71 100% stock road runner to a local applebees meet tonight but hinest bob had to rain on my parade and ask if I was worried about the salt on the roads. I now am super paranoid about taking her out.

What do think? Is there even any salt on the roads?

IDK, cause Honest bob is a WRX snow whore and is prolly wet dreaming over salt on the roads and has hence made me paranoid about the unibody on my gas whore.

Even if there is salt on the road, if the road surface isn't wet then you should be fine.

Dunno man, I see salt on the roads by me. Maybe they didnt put any down around allentown, but its left over from the little bit of snow like a week ago.

Regardless, the amount of salt used on the roads in PA is almost nothing. The majority of their mixture is sand mixed with a magnesium based substance that is relatively harmless to paint (obviously you shouldnt let it sit for 3 months)

I have an uncle that works for Penndot. I guess I should have been more specific... what I said probably only applies to major roads.
