dumbest thing you've said to a cop?

I was just talking to my best friend in washington, I had heard a story about him but didn't think it was true.. I was wrong.

He got pulled over running open header, the cop asked him why the car was loud and he said he hit a speed bump and thinks it cracked his catalitic converter. the cop said he wasn't and idiot and said "how about I have your car impounded and we can find out the real reason" I guess my friend said "how about you impound my balls in your mouth"

so yeah. in WA if the state troopers stop you they can impound your car for just about anything, and they did. he also got charger with resisiting arrest and says he didnt, i believe him but nobody else is going to

I was driving down rt 130 in my town when a cop rides up next to me. He then slows down to have me pass him to pull me over. I slow down with him.

So, he eventually pulls into the shoulder and makes me pass him, then pulls me over.

He says, "You have things wrong with your car."

I said, "like what?"

He says, "You have tinted windows, no front plate, and a license plate bracket that covers up garden state. What's your reasoning?"

and I say:

"Well, I put the plate bracket on the back because I didn't have one on the front and it fell off."

He says, "ok, smartass, what about the tint."

I say, "It had tinted windows in the rear so I wanted the front to match"

- Here goes: I sped. I followed too closely. I ran a stop sign. I almost hit a Chevy. I sped some more. I failed to yield at a crosswalk. I changed lanes at the intersection. I changed lanes without signaling while running a red light and speeding!

Cop: Is that all?

- No... I have unpaid parking tickets.

I'll be honest, I'm never ballsy with police when I get stopped, I just kiss ass and try to bring up the fact that my dad was chief of police and died a couple years back.

although, when i was in washington I got stopped for doing 70 in a 35, when he came up to the window he said i was under arrest ( that's wreckless driving in WA ) but ended up not ticketing me because I told him I wasn't from the area and thought I was on a highway.

cop: im gonna write you a wreckless driving ticket, go to court and itll be lowered to careless

needless to say, it got lowered to careless driving (110 in a 55 )

i got pulled over in NJ a few years ago and the cop was like talking the normal cop stuff and asked for my drivers licence and stuff


so i gave it to him

he comes back from my car and is like are you a profesional car theft im like no dude

then hes like ok let me get this right

you are in NJ im like yeah

hes like you have PA tags im like yeah

hes like and you have a hawaii drivers licence and im like yeah


then he is like i hope you know that you need a drivers licence from the united states of america to driver here

i was like i hope you know that hawaii is a united state of america (the single most dumbest thing i have ever said to a cop in my life)

he turned form normal to a wild outraged cop who for the next 15 mins did nothing but curse me out and put me down and tell me how i insaulted his intelligance and he went to college for 3 years and i got a ****ing ticket for going the wrong way on a wone way street

and i will have you all know i was on a 4 LANE road with 2 lanes going one way and the other 2 lanes going the other way.... oh yeah i got pulled over because they told me word on the block was there was a stolen red mustang driveing around.

I havent said anything ridiculous. Over the summer we were at a party it got busted. There was only 9 of us there. So there breathalizing us, and i blew zeros (I dont know how) and they gave everyone a breathalizer. Then came back to me and were like were gonna give you another one because at the end i thought i saw numbers come up. As hes getting ready to give me another one. My friend goes "wait he gets to go twice?!?!?" like it was a game or something

Cop pulled me over to find out y my 88 Rx7 was spitting flames from the exhaust at each shift.

"Cause its a 89 Trana am 305 with long tube headers, no cats, 680cfm quadrajet, and straight pipes to dual HKS draggers. Plus im running 100 octane, I filled up at Englishtown last weekend"

I once asked a cop if he was abused by his father in his early child hood. That one cost me 6 tickets. And all I was pulled over for was no front plate, back when I had Jersey tags.

I got pulled in North Dakota on a back road doing 85-90 in my Blazer I had at the time. I saw the cop and mashed the breaks, I'm talking full nose dive. He comes up to the window and asks "do you know how fast you were going"
My responce was "Nope, but I'm sure your going to tell me" At that point I pissed him off and he start going off on how my tint is illegal and what not. After getting my ass chewed for 20 min. I get a ticket for doing 55 in a 25. After I looked at the fine I started laughing. It was only $15.

I got pulled over the day b4 I got my license and I told the cop I didnt have a license when he asked for it... n I didnt mention I had a permitt so he started to get pissed untill I rememberd to tell him that I had a permit.

That's what I always do to. I've gotten out of launching my car from a traffic light, and going 70 in 35. No tickets in both. w00t!

Never got a single ticket or wrecked a car. My brother though, 2 tickets, 2 wrecked cars, 1 court date, in 1 year.

I guess it was about a year ago now, I was on a cruise with about 20 cars, and we were on our way home (after doing stupid **** all day). I got pulled over for suposedly passing on the shoulder in Lampertville and the road was a 2 lane road anyways. Little did he know that I had a camera mounted in my car...

I pulled it down and threw it under my seat before he came up to my car. He writes a ticket and tells me how nice he is for not towing my car because my insurance card had expired 1 week ago.

So I decide to fight the ticket. The ticket was 4 points and $150 in fines plus court fees. The best deal they would give me was 2 points and $300 in fines, so I go to the judge. He asks the cop to explain what he saw and wrote the ticket for and the cop says "I clearly saw Mr. Heineman passing a silver car on the shoulder and it appears that they were also street racing next to each other."

Then he turns to me and asks me to explain what happened.

I tell him that I brought the owner of the silver car that I illegally passed with me (the guy is like a 40 year old man, not a little kid). He explains that he was suposed to be the last car in the group so he waved me ahead of him on the 2 lane rd before the merger.

Then I pull out my video camera and let the judge watch the whole thing where you can clearly see the BMW wave me ahead, you can clearly see my spedometer at 35 mph (not street racing!), and you can also clearly see that I am on a 2 lane road, and then you see the cop who ticketed me across the street with another car already pulled over.

The judge tells the cop that he better take a closer look next time before he wastes everyone's time.

Needless to say the cop was pissed and gave me a mouthful after we walked out. But all I did was smile because I won! lol
