So Im thinking..

Im really sick of this DSM bull****...

Im thinking bout trading/sekking my laser and my eclipse and getting something diff. Im leanin towards a more reliable but still tuneable car, maybe even newer.

Whats your thoughts on this, would it be worth it, and what would you suggest i buy.

There are always the usual Civics/Integras of all sorts, Nissan's, VW, etc. Personally id lean towards a Honda but thats just me.

ok I know its gonna sound biased, but seriously, get a nissan. What are you looking for in your next car? FWD? RWD? AWD? RWD-240sx FWD-Sentra (which can be very nasty cars)

FWD - Lots of options here, most notably Honda. You can buy a shell and swap a K20 or B18/B16 into it

RWD - Drift car, 240 or an Older M3 (if you can afford it)

AWD - Subaru Imprezas - then save up and buy a USDM WRX swap

I still say the deals are on the Subaru "L"s right now. They can fit all the STI drivetrain parts plus suspension. They also can be picked up for about $2500 in good shape. Put that remaining $7K into the car and you will have one very fast sleeper that has a brand new engine with tons of cheap parts available.

2600lbs and 300whp is pretty fast. That's just the tip of the iceburg with this one too.

you could get a lancer, an 02 ES should be around your budget.

http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/car/240540772.html

02 with 89k miles for 5k, then you still got enough to turbo it
